1. Services

HVAC Report LLC (“we”) prepares Manual J, S and D load calculations, REScheck reports and COMcheck reports based on information provided by the client (“you”).

2. Client information

Our work relies on the plans, specifications and information you provide. You are responsible for their accuracy and completeness. Changes after we begin may affect price and delivery.

3. Quotes and pricing

Online estimates are for convenience. The final price is confirmed after we review your plans and is stated before work begins.

4. Turnaround

Standard turnaround is 5 business days after we receive complete information. Rush 48-hour delivery is available for an added fee. Dates are estimates, not guarantees.

5. Revisions

One round of revisions is included. Additional revisions, including those caused by plan or equipment changes, are $50 each.

6. Payment

We invoice when your report is delivered. Payment terms and accepted payment methods are stated on the invoice. Reports may be held until prior invoices are paid.

7. No professional seal

We are not a licensed professional engineering firm, and we do not seal or stamp documents. Where a jurisdiction requires a signature or seal from a design professional, that responsibility belongs to the project’s design professional of record.

8. Permit approval

We prepare reports to applicable standards and codes, but permit approval is decided by the authority having jurisdiction. We will make reasonable corrections requested by plan review at no charge when the correction results from our error.

9. Limitation of liability

Our total liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the fee paid for the specific report. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including construction delays or equipment costs.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
